Profile: Since 2009, when I moved back to the UK from Mexico, I have worked only part-time, as I have been raising my two children on my own. I have a daughter who is 20 and is studying at the LSE, and another daughter who is 17, and is currently studying for A – levels. In future years I would like to go back to Mexico for part of the year, ideally to write a book on the penitents of Taxco, and to do some university teaching, hopefully in the field of Anthropology of Tourism. I live in Kent and would like to do the MA part-time, to enable me to continue with some travel writing, and to continue looking after my youngest daughter who is still at home with me. I lived in Mexico for 14 years, and came back to the UK largely for the educational needs of my children.
